Sourcing Specialist/供应商开发专员

Overview

Identify new suppliers for sourcing opportunities for Industrial products throughout Asia Pacific Region

The main responsibilities of a Sourcing Specialist includes but not limited to

• Develop potential suppliers for standard products that will be offered to Fastenal stores

• Identify and recommend suppliers to product managers and other internal customers after reviewing quotation and on-site factory visits*

• Communicate with U.S. product development groups and other internal customers through early morning conference calls and emails

• Follow up on project progress with product managers, potential suppliers, as well as sourcing teams to ensure smooth communication within all project stake holders

• Negotiate price, MOQ, and other necessary terms with suppliers to meet our internal customers’ expectations

• Facilitate among Fastenal/FASTCO Graphic teams, product logistics and suppliers to resolve graphic and packaging issues

• Assist Sourcing project lead to select the most qualified suppliers for Fastenal based on price, quality, service metrics

• Assist Sourcing Intelligence team for department information management

  
  

  Education/Experience:

• Bachelor degree or above.

• Knowledge and experience in industrial products preferred

  
  

  Qualifications/Requirements:

• Fluent oral and written English communication skill

• Excellent time management skills in a fast paced team environment

• Be able to take initiatives to work extra miles on helping out projects, as well as the team

• Analytical, driven, open minded, goal and customer service oriented,

• The ability to work independently

• Working knowledge of Excel and related Microsoft Office Software

• Practice integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the business

• Basic knowledge on print-study is preferred but not required

• Travel will be required for this position, somewhere from 10% to 25% of your work time
