Eaton’s Power Systems division is currently seeking a Sourcing Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Queretaro facility.

The Sourcing Supervisor is responsible for plant Cost Out /Sourcing projects, principal Influenciator and initiator for localization Sourcing projects from Cooper Power Systems – LIPE BU Queretaro Facility. I’ve been involved on transferring projects, sourcing, VA/VE and NPD. Localizing suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, developing and implementing projects follow up PROLauch methodology.

Some activities related with the position will be:

• Lead cross-functional teams to develop & align sourcing strategies to achieve total value improvement, cost optimization, and overall supply base rationalization.  Manage and drive year-over-year price improvements through cost out projects & sourcing councils.
• Negotiate complex agreements with global, regional or local suppliers in alignment with global category managers. Implement contracts to maximize savings and service level, including performance clauses and all other terms and conditions.
• Develop category sourcing plans and lead resources in the identification of potential suppliers, requirements documentation, RFI and RFQs, bid and price analysis, negotiation with contract awards, and supplier performance management.
• Be responsible for the Indirect/MRO supervision (including on site Vendor).
• Support/Create strategic sourcing plan to ensure value is achieved through a systematic approach for specific categories of spend, including indirect/MRO spend.
• Develop strong support relationships with functional leaders and key site operations personnel across global, regional and local businesses.  Utilize negotiations and influencing skills as needed to gain support from across many levels of the organization.
• Communicate with all levels of the organization on performance to key metrics and project status as required.
• Coordinate and Supervise Staff of Sourcing Engineers and MRO Indirect Buyer. 
• Report and drive cost out result through forecasting and coordinate with related functions to perform project on time completion and timely action to avoid risks during the project implementation period with full utilization of the CODB.
• Work with the regional and shared service center (SSC) teams, to solve supplier payment related issues will lead the proper GR&IR process to meet the standards.
• Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and objectives and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area.  Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results.

Calificaciones

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or international business
• 5- 7 of experience working in sourcing activities
• At least Foundational knowledge on ISO9001 /14000 or IATF Quality System.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quality Auditor desirable
• At least Foundational knowledge CTPAT and OEA certifications
• Strong Financial analysis skills
• Strong Project management skill
• Strong on Problem solving Techniques
• Strong coordination and communication skill with inter and external customer and supplier
• Strong negotiation skills with the suppliers.
