The Shanghai Call Center is a non-profit hotline established by the Shanghai government in 2006. The hotline provides expatriates with a free 24-hour information and translation service portal.
We are currently looking for a Spanish Speaking Interpreter to join us full-time.
You'll be joining a young and dynamic team of bright interpreters and editors who are passionate about language and culture. You'll find yourself working in a multi-cultural environment, as you'll be communicating with people from all over the world on a daily basis.
The company will give you the opportunity to learn and grow, and will provide you with weekly language classes (English, Spanish, French, Esperanto, etc.), as well as field trips to learn about Shanghai and to discover the expat hotspots.

Job Description:
- Answer questions from callers according to the database;
- Provide over-the-phone interpretation service between Mandarin, English and Spanish;
- Meet customers’ requirements in a positive and professional manner

Requirements
- Female candidates preferred
- Bachelor's Degree from any discipline (preferably in Language & Arts)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Outgoing and able to work under pressure
- Responsible, with a nice and pleasant personality

Required language skills:
- English: fluent conversational skills
- Spanish: fluent conversational skills
- Chinese: medium to high-level in conversation and reading
- Ability to speak any other language is advantage
