Position Summary and Responsibilities We are currently looking for a regular full-time a Special Process manufacturing Manager for the Plating and Painting area. • Oversee department to ensure all plating painting/cleaning lines, wastewater and air scrubbers are operating per process to maximize production. • Create the Paint schedule; adjust staffing and work hours to meet schedules • Ensure that employees adhere to safety and environmental compliance. • Supervise and train employees including process specification changes. • Schedule production, maintain quality acceptability. • Responsibilities include new chemical make-up and proper storage and disposal of old. • Maintain chemical inventory, order supplies and plating equipment, schedule repairs. • Work with management and engineering process evaluations. • Supervise on a daily work-flow schedule and distribute work to employees. Qualifications • A minimum of 3-5 years of plating experience and extensive knowledge of e-coat paint systems strongly preferred • Experience required plating based on tin • Ability to use of microscope, XRF thickness measuring system. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as surface areas and time/amp rate of deposit.
