You will provide professional support in the development of business/marketing and Annual Budget plans and strategies to achieve retail sales potentials. You will monitor the subsequent implementation of these plans to ensure objectives are met. You will maximise sales volume and contribution margin performance for BMW, and ensure BMW retains and improves premium segment leadership at DAR and regional level. You will assess and ensure proper implementation of demo and showroom car policies including regular auditing of NSC stock. You will build and develop effective working relationships with BMW and Dealer personnel within region, particularly at DP / owner level in order to improve management effectiveness.

You will be responsible for the identification of business process weaknesses at retailer level (within region) and creation of action plan / process improvements to improve overall retailer business, based upon KPI monitoring. You will also monitor individual dealer and region overall performance in achievement of set KPI targets and provide feedback to C3-ZA-B-V-7 / C3-ZA-B-V.

You will also take responsibility for the internal control environment within your areas of responsibility.

You should have:

- Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Management
- Minimum 5 years work experience with Retail Automotive Industry experience essential
- Minimum 5 years work experience in Automotive Sales Wholesale business
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the automotive network including an understanding of the sales funnel, retailer operations, external sales environment and competitive challenges
- Experience in influencing and relationship-building with dealer principals and Retail Automotive business owners
- A good degree of commercial / financial awareness together with a sound understanding of the South African car market and the BMW / MINI / Motorrad retail partner network
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with ability to work in a matrix organisation
