The position is primarily responsible to assist and provide support to the Assistance/Project Manager in managing the implementation/migration activities across the organization through the execution of established project management methodologies. The position supports finance & accounting activities for the company together with any continuous improvement initiatives and events.Assist in managing project development and the delivery from beginning to end.
Assist in delivering the project scope, deliverable and objective that support business goals in collaboration with Project Lead, senior management, Head of GFS and stakeholders.
Assist in monitoring and managing the project progress closely in completing and achieving the project deliverables.
Actively identify, communicate and report significant deviation in project quality, cost or schedule.
Perform important administrative functions for the project lead which includes, but not limited to; updating the project schedule, taking minutes at meetings, preparing progress reports, drafting, preparing and maintaining organization documentations, contracts and agreements.
Support in the coordination and preparation activities for the Demand Management Committee (DMC).
Ensure relationship with both external and internal stakeholder are well maintained, and expectations are met to ensure a positive working relationship.
Support in identifying and delivering efficiency projects for potential savings.
Provide project governance including gate reviews, post audits and quality control of the project deliverables.
Assist in the communication and transformation initiatives from Project Lead, GFS and Group Office.
Execute any other duties assigned in order to meet operational and/or strategic requirements.
Job Requirements :
Education
- University Degree in Accounting/Finance or any related field.
- PMP Trained or equivalent Project Management Certification (PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 2-4 year working in IT/Finance/Shared Services environment with minimum 1 cycle of Project implementation either in Project or BAU mode (Change Request) implementation.
- Proficient working knowledge in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working in MNC environment preferred
- Microsoft Project exposure a plus
- SAP experience an added advantage

Specific Business Knowledge:
Technical
- Basic knowledge of IFRS principles, the ability to interpret the standards and apply to real life scenarios
- Briefly understand the Financial Statement items.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Decent analytical mindset
- Conversant and comfortable with high level stakeholder communications
- High organizational and listening skills
