Department Overview: The System Training department are responsible for training external clients on Pershing’s in-house suite of systems; namely: Pershing Nexus. In addition, Pershing offers a professional portal and an investor portal for wealth managers and advisers that work seamlessly together. These systems are called Nexus Wealth® and Nexus Investor®, they are fully integrated with Pershing’s core technology systems. As we continue to grow, we have an exciting opportunity to assist our current systems training team. This role will play a key part in being responsible for training clients on these systems in addition to assisting in building an e-learning catalogue. As part of the Pershing Front Office, this department is key to the first user experience of customer facing front end and technology solutions. Collectively this includes identifying and optimising the use of our systems for the benefit of broader and deeper penetration and consumption of our services. The role is likely to be extended into a consultative approach towards clients and prospective clients, ensuring that efficient use of our systems results in a successful onboarding experience and stronger client relationships. Summary Job Description: The System Training Specialist will need to become confident and proficient on the systems, learning the functions and screens for Pershing’s software and associated processes/products to enable them to conduct training with Pershing’s clients and produce/update training materials utilising different media. Furthermore, the System Training Specialist will be expected to support live and post live activities in the client’s office, assisting our Sales and Relationship Managers with demonstrations of our systems during sales meetings with prospective new clients, run system presentations to Pershing’s employees, and conduct any administrative tasks associated with the department. Qualifications Requirements: · A candidate that finds pleasure in working with technical systems · A knowledge of training theories and practices · Good written language skills · Relevant Financial Services Industry Experience · Good ability of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic use of Teams · Previous training experience, (specifically systems based training) · Exceptional attention to detail · Highly analytical individual · Confident individual with good presentation skills · A sales and consultative driven approach · Be able to travel both within the UK and further afield when government guidelines allow Preferred Additional Skills: Articulate Storyline, WebEx, Pershing Nexus, Microsoft Dynamics, Eximius Academic Minimum Standards: A Level educated a minimum of three years appropriate industry experience, or a pass in the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) (or other appropriate industry qualification of equivalent standard or above) BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
