Facilitate the onboarding of new Corporate Trust deals or Amendments to existing deals. Review, analyze and negotiate with external parties, in conjunction with BNYM counsel, moderately complex contract and transaction documents to ensure that BNYM can meet the contractual obligations, that contracts meet BNYM documentation standards, and that operational risks and nonstandard business practices are identified and mitigated, whilst meeting client objectives with consideration for BNYM risk appetite. Work with clients, internal teams and external parties (e.g. bond counsels, issuers, underwriters and financial advisors) to resolve issues and contractual concerns. Ensure onboarding tasks are completed accurately and timely. Focus is on moderately complex Corporate Trust client services. Responsible for transaction management, contract execution and closing deals for assigned clients or transactions. Contribute to the achievement of any team objectives. Work with BNYM teams to develop new business. Comply with BNYM Policies and Procedures. No direct reports but may provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably in finance or a related area, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

5-7 years of total work experience preferred in the finance industry.

Client Service experience within the finance industry is strongly preferred.

Corporate Trust experience is a plus.

Detailed oriented, amicable and collaborative.
