The role will be responsible for:
Implementation and support of the BMW SA Health Management strategy.
To provide an integrated Primary Health Care service and contribute toward the efficient delivery of Occupational Health Services, legal and regulatory compliance.
Providing a comprehensive best practice medicine, chronic disease management programme and employee wellness programmes.
Assist with work related clinical matters, e.g. incapacity management and absenteeism management programs.
Manage trauma and injuries.
Plan and implement activities and programs for Health Services with service providers in collaboration with the Health Manager and BMW Employees Medical Aid.
Collaborate with BMW Group on projects, programs and initiatives.
– A postgraduate diploma in Occupational Medicine is a prerequisite.
– HPCSA registration as a medical practitioner.
– MBChB.
– A dispensing license.
– Experience in occupational medical surveillance in an industrial setup will be an advantage.
– A valid driver’s licence.
– Medical certificate of fitness.
– At least three (3) years’ postgraduate experience in medicine in an occupational health related field.
