Eaton’s North America Financial Services Division is currently seeking a Specialist- Planning System Administrator to join our team. This is a remotely based role. Position Overview: The Planning System Administrator is responsible for the support of Eaton's Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS) also known as Planning. This is phase I of Eaton's global planning solution in the cloud. It is a critical strategic initiative supporting drive-based planning. This position will support the growth of the maturity of the system and process documentation to ensure- sustainability for a scalable global rollout. The Administrator will be in charge of planning, managing, and maintaining the Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and Smart View applications. In this function you will: Responsible for Planning access requests and security group structures/changes. Ensures that adequate safeguards are in place for Eaton’s consolidated financial data which reside in the Planning application Oversees any alternative uses for Planning, such as outbound data files and makes sure that any alternative uses are thoroughly tested Collaborates with IT, India managed services, and Oracle support to ensure that expected application performance levels are maintained and achieved Supports and manages monthly system upgrades, regression testing and patches Acts as backup system administrator for ARCS and FCCS and provides Planning cross training to other administrators Both functional and technical expert in the new system functionality to be the first line of defense on customer questions Serves as the liaison between business teams and IT Maintenance of currently developed EPBCS applications, including development of new functionality and processes (metadata, sub-variables, business calc script development) within the application Responsible for managing and monitoring the Oracle load process (ad hoc requests and nightly scheduled loads), data validation, and addressing load issues Design, develop, test, deploy, and support user requirements for new functionality and business automation in EPBCS modules Maintain documentation around system design and functionalities Single point of contact for IT related issues and work closely with IT organization to resolve user and system issues in a timely manner Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 7+ years in Accounting, Finance, and/or Finance Systems roles Preferred qualifications: Experience with Planning, HFM, FCCS, or other Oracle products Excellent communication skills and ability to work through complex issues, provide solutions and deliver timely results. Conveys complex information, develops communication strategies, and persuades significantly diverse audiences. Reconciles multiple stakeholder perspectives to resolve conflicts. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
