You will be responsible for product planning and launch management in defining market specific product strategy considering price, volume and revenue forecasts. You will adapt centrally provided products for specific market needs (product offer) (e.g. adaption of performance according to governmental requests). You will lead the conception and time scheduling of product specific sales management measures as well as short-term and product measures which flow back to headquarters as best practice“, long / mid-term planning. Initiates and coordinates the launch of any new product in the market.
You will be responsible for supply communication in preparing market specific product presentations and argumentations for customers. You will approve locally developed product communication in markets ensuring that ordering ability of all consumer channels. You will Provides support of sales people trainings and events. Market specific preparation of central products for communication to customers (e.g. translations, product data).
You will execute strategic competition analysis and competition benchmarks including interdependencies in agreement with AU-2. You will monitor and research legal and governmental framework conditions (e.g. emissions).You will reports market development, trends and tendencies to headquarters on basis of long-term competition analysis. You will define a market adequate price positioning for the given product offer in coordination with headquarters.
Lastly you will report volume and revenue related product and price requirements of markets to headquarter.
You will also take responsibility for the internal control environment within your areas of responsibility.
Education and competencies
• University degree, preferable in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering and Management
• Work experience, Leadership experience
• Managerial experience (preferable within a multinational company)
• Marketing generalist experience with good product knowledge and affinity
• Experience in the automotive industry (sales, marketing) would be beneficial
• Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc.
• Fluent command of English
