Permanent, Full-Time

Niagara/Hamilton/Oakville/Burlington

Responsibilities

  • Build detailed evaluation of decision makers at the account level responsible for listing of products, understand roles and relationships within and outside the account and in the overall decision-making unit. You will build and implement account plans for tertiary and targeted community hospitals

  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to complete an in-depth account-level analysis, dedicated to prioritizing resources and crafting a customized account plan. You will drive business results through positive cross-functional collaboration, working with a wide variety of key stakeholders (internal and external) across the business ecosystem

  • Influence decision makers to ensure our products are appropriately positioned on hospital protocols and corresponding order sets

  • In collaboration with the Renal cross functional team, build a value proposition which provides solutions and delivers a Win/Win/Win for patients, the ecosystem and earlier product adoption

  • Ensure products are available on the account formulary in all major accounts and key renal clinics

  • Achieve a high level of both therapeutic and product knowledge to positively promote the benefits of our products

  • Positively communicate the scientific and clinical benefits of our products to top research and clinical practitioners integrating a patient centric approach

  • Collect and report Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or a B.Commerce Degree or equivalent, as well as a winning track record of at least five years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Strong scientific knowledge of Chronic Kidney Disease, Anemia and Hyperkalemia is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of the Health Care System and associated decision makers/influencers is preferred

  • Established relationships within the nephrology space is preferred

  • Success working within key tertiary hospitals

  • Positively impact and influence others, establishing credibility and building strong business partnerships (internal and external)

  • Excellent needs analysis, presentation, project management and communication skills

  • Thrive working in a team environment

  • Hold a valid Driver's license (You will be requested to provide a valid driver abstract at the time of acceptance.)
