More about us https://www.eaton.com The Doncaster Facility opened in January 2021 and is the UK manufacturing facility for Central Power systems (CBU) and Emergency lighting. The facility also houses the Fire Systems research and development team, Fire Technical Support, the UK Financial Shared Services centre and UK Payroll team. This role will be part of the Fire Technical support team, engaging with external and internal stakeholders to create and deliver appropriate technical training. Main Responsibilities: • Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions • Design effective training programs • Select and book venues • Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions. • Prepare educational material such as module summaries, videos etc. • Support and mentor new employees • Keep attendance and other records • Manage training budgets • Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement • Keep attendance and other records Qualifications • Education level required: C&G 7300-01 or CLCP or equivalent • Years and area of experience required: Multiple years of experience in area desirable • Technical knowledge: EN54 regulation/ fire engineering background • Soft skills: Analytical thinking Ethical mind set at all times. Interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to coordinate Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and problem solve Good verbal and written communication Good understanding of computers and software packages Work well within a team environment, whilst being able to plan and execute own work initiatives Strong presentation skills What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
