As specialist in preventive fire protection and fire chief and as head of a plant fire brigade, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, the steering of external firefighters and operations.

Your work will focus primarily on:
- Coordinating fire protection and ensuring the legally compliant organization and operational readiness of the plant fire brigade as well as the operational emergency response at the Debrecen site.
- Providing technical guidance to all internal firefighters of the plant fire brigade and controlling the service provider deployed.
- Developing and defining standards and concepts for firefighting and fire protection.
- Advising the BMW Group Plant Debrecen on internal (technologies, design, plants) and external functions (architecture, engineering) with regard to fire protection standards and concepts.
- Functioning as the plant's national contact person and stakeholder towards the local and regional authorities for internal and external fire protection enquiries.
- Evaluating fire brigades, equipment and technical facilities, developing concepts and initiating as well as controlling appropriate procurement processes.
- Supporting the local crisis management team as an expert advisor in case of crisis and emergencies.
- Supporting the Head of Security, Fire Brigade, Mobility and Post in budget and investment planning.

- National Training Certificate for professional firefighters (group leader level).
- Hungarian degree in "Fire Protection" Certificate.
- 8+ years of working experience as a professional firefighter.
- Unrestricted suitability for fire brigade service as well as a class B driving license.
- Experience as head or deputy head of the fire protection department connections to the public fire brigade, preferably in Debrecen.
- Willingness to receive further training at other BMW Group plants in Europe and general willingness to work as an intern at other BMW Group locations.
- Good analytical skills and confident handling of MS-Office programs.
- An independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working as well as the ability to work in a team.
- Commitment, flexibility and responsibility when it comes to your tasks.
- Hungarian - business fluent both written and spoken, English at a B1 level, German would be an advantage.
