What do we do at Siemens Mobility Engineering? We have about 350 colleagues in the Czech Republic. Together we develop innovative products for the rolling stock. In addition, we work on global projects, from the definition of requirements, over SW/HW and mechanics development, to cross-sectional topics at the vehicle-wide level. By creating energy-efficient zero-emission transport systems, we contribute to fulfilling the Czech Republic's, European Union's and global commitments related to energy, climate, and the environment. The development projects in the Czech Republic also include battery- or hydrogen-driven vehicles. What are the benefits of your role? We do not see the application of new technology as a goal but as a tool to achieve the purpose of the maximum useful value of vehicles. To accomplish that, we need to plan and coordinate our work well and allocate human resources. As we want to keep improving and be a trend-setter in our field, we strive to perfect our technical solutions and streamline and optimise the processes and tools we use. In this position, you will in particular: Administer an internal tool (Sascia) for capacity and budget planning for individual projects and offers Prepare, coordinate, and manage the entire planning process in Engineering, including process optimisation and streamlining Prepare and update an overview of crucial projects and offers for the entire Engineering at Siemens Mobility (not only the CZ part) Analyse the outcomes and manage the process of eliminating errors and discrepancies in planning, including subsequent tests Support and train users/managers during the planning process Anchor the planning meetings (in German) Collaborate with expert departments across Engineering (CZ, DE, AT) Required qualifications and experience: A university degree in technical fields or IT Knowledge of German, which allows professional work; at least basic knowledge of English Experience with process management and streamlining in Engineering or development, interest in the professional aspect of product development Interest in IT tools – not in programming, but in tests, optimisation proposals and designs etc. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of MS Dynamics is a plus Presentation and communication skills, a team spirit, healthy assertiveness (also in a foreign language) What can you look forward to with us?
