Key Responsibilities:




Retailer performance

Directly responsible for the assigned Retailer stores’ performance. As the Retail store manager, be responsible to deliver the store sales, service and brand experience result.

Brand image

Responsible to manage the strong branded e***ironment that helps Microsoft devices and services differentiate and stand out from the competition executed in managed retail stores.

Analysis & Insight

Provide store level insights and sales performance reporting influence marketing programs, strategies and executions

Retailer Planning

Landscape - deep understanding of Retailer business – use insights gained to create strategy and translate to a quality plan

Focus - identify key focus areas for execution

Relationship Management

Build relationships with store field staffs and customers, build MSFT fans at retail

Cross team collaboration with both Microsoft and Partner’s stores in the development of the necessary program offerings that will lead to long-term relationships with customers and Partner’s Retail store managers

Experience sharing with internal and external partners for learning and experience building

Develop the competency of the individual team member for retail store performance

Implement co-marketing & programs to drive joint success

Think of relationship management as living process versus ‘a moment in time’ – aspires to ‘Trusted Advisor’ status

Map and understand the power base of host store manager that will make/influence decisions with Microsoft

Anticipate competition and have an active plan

Foresight

Actively mine for future opportunities, assess risks, dissect and learn from key wins/losses

Share Retailer and store level insights for Microsoft outcomes

Demonstrate responsiveness and creativity with the partner to shape the market, not just ride the market

Business Operational Excellence

Accountable for executing Retailer plan to committed metrics - forecast accuracy, revenue attainment, scorecard, share & retail store experience

Execute consistent Rhythm of the Business including Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews with Host Store Managers

Follow-through on commitments

Evangelize and ready Partner sellers for co-engagement through sales readiness, coaching and management

Experiences Required: key experiences, skills and knowledge:

3+ years Retail store management experience

3+ years of high traffic/high volume retail experience

1+ years of people management experience

Experience selling consumer electronics or Technology Solutions

Previous technology/product/software teaching or training experience is a plus

Experience managing in a customer service e***ironment

Love for Microsoft

Deep understanding of Microsoft products

Strong organizational & operational skills

Sales Strategy

Ability to build strong customer relationships

Ability to develop and motivate an retail store team
