A Speech and Language Therapist is required to join our dedicated and collaborative team of therapists and teachers who work together to empower students to reach their full potential. Reporting to the Principal, the successful candidate will work with students with complex needs in the areas of speech, language, AAC and mealtime management through direct (individual, group and whole-class) and indirect (consultation, training) intervention. The candidate will also support school curriculum development and implementation. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in working with children with disabilities with a high level of knowledge and expertise in AAC.

Requirements
The successful candidates must:
• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent) from a recognized university
• Have a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in working as a Speech Therapist with children with disabilities
• Have a high level of knowledge and expertise in both low and high tech AAC
• Have a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of recent developments in speech therapy research and practice
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
