Job Description

As part of the PESG (Product Enabling Solutions Group) Design Infrastructure (DI) West Operations (Ops) team, you will be critical to the future success of Intel. The Ops team is the interface between all Intel pre-silicon design groups in using Infrastructure tools, flows and methods (TFM) in the design systems Intel uses. We enable best in class tooling for revisioncontrol, data management, Analytics as well as design handoff for product integration and design quality assessment.

This job opening is for a Splunk Platform developer to author/provide automation for all administrative duties (eg App creation, Index creation, Splunk data access enabling, etc) as well as provide support to the growing Splunk tool/application userbase. Intel recently decided to standardize on using the Splunk as our official monitoring, Analytics alerting capability, both for infrastructure as well as for chip design data so this is an exciting opportunity to greatly
evolve/improve the infrastructure around it by providing countless necessary automated solutions thatremove all routine/manual support.

Having certifications as a Splunk Enterprise Administrator and/or Splunk Core User/Power
User is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years of experience

OR

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
or a related field.

Linux O/S and Python programming exposure/experience.
Source control management practices, using Github or similar tools.
Experience with Software engineering/development practices.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
