DSA is seeking a talented SportsWear/Products Designer, with extensive experience delivering and managing sports products for our members and potential customers.

This position is responsible to manage the product lifecycle from design concept to production of assigned categories. He/ She should ensure products maintain design intent while meeting all company margin targets, quality standards and on time deliverables. He/She is also the link between merchandising/design – production/sourcing and the factories. This particular position will be focused on Kids/adults Sports Apparel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all assigned categories (Kids/adults Basketball/ Football Apparel, Accessories & Gear) to ensure on time samples that meet target margins, design intent and brand quality standards
• Lead the full product lifecycle from Ideation, Design, Definition to Delivery — collaborating with teams across the organization
• Daily communication with office and vendors to ensure all samples are accurate and received on time
• Ensure costs are negotiated to meet or exceed margin requirements at style and category level.

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ EDUCATION:

• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, wholesale business model; Solid experience in working with Suppliers or Sourcing Offices is a must
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications
• Passionate in Sports, especially Basketball & Football apparel is a plus
• Deadline driven and detail oriented
• Multitasking and be able to work in a fast paced environment
• A strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas
• Fluent in Cantonese & Mandarin; Proficiency in English a plus
• Literate in Applications – Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, etc
