ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

As a Senior 3D Production Artist, you will play a vital role in helping Avery Dennison thrive in the apparel digital revolution. You will partner with Commercial Team to directly connect to our customers and their 3D Digital Teams to build long-term partnerships and get a deep understanding of how we can engage them early in the product creation cycle to best support their needs. You will work very closely with Global Program Deployment team and Sampling team on digital product development, providing solutions on any problem the team may have.

As we continue to build out our team and capabilities and grow, this role will need to stay abreast of new digital trends and how we can leverage them in our product offerings. This person must thrive in a rapidly changing environment and love the challenge of adopting new technologies and systems into our existing business ecosystem. You will build and grow relationships with software partners to address novel approaches to technical hurdles in our sector. With this in mind, The Senior 3D Designer will engage cross functional teams in understanding and implementing 3D best practices. This role will also support setting up the best practice of digital product creation and training to PA. These work will be featured in different forms of materials, including but not limited to documents and video productions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and execute Digital Product creation according to customer’s requirement within the target lead time. Illustrate problem solving skills and do escalation when necessary.
• Manage daily item level discussion across teams.
• Creating Training Documentation and Videos related to digital product creations.
• Support to develop best practice within the team, and training to junior team members.
• Work closely with Creative Team on expanding 3D offering into new product categories within the business - Work closely with software partners to adopt new technologies and systems
• Support the internal review of new 3D options and upgrades as they become available. Validate New Software’s with Outlined Workflow
• Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team.
• Support initiatives to bring 3D Digital Sampling to customer facing platforms for collaboration, online approvals and 3D Garment Software integration.
• Support Commercial Team to build partnerships with Customers to Test end to end Workflows and extend impact of digital products.
   

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, 3D Animation, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of modern 3D visualization technologies, theories, architecture, and development techniques
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Pantora, xTex, Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Rhino, blender Substance, Zbrush, Arnold, Keyshot, Vray, Modo, Browzwear Clo3D, and Lectra
• Good communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
