Senior Accountant (Taipei, Taiwan)
A. Job Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Department’s goal of ensuring an accurate and timely execution of accounting and finance operation. The ideal candidate would be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
B. Responsibilities and Duties
- Check and verify account payable records, prepares vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and balance accounts payable records.
- Coordinate and control monthly closes process timely and accurately, and ensure that results are reported in accordance with company policy.
- Regularly analyze and maintain detailed account reconciliations
- Work with external auditors on tax preparation and annual financial audit to meet the statutory requirement.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties / special projects assigned by supervisor.
C. Qualifications and Experience
- BA degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance field, working experience in multinational company a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
- Fluent in English
- Experience with SAP is a plus
