Purpose of this position:

The Cost Analyst that holds this position will be responsible for the daily cost maintenance and Annual Cost Roll Over activities in Baxter for Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe and UCAN Regions.

Main Responsibilities:

• In charge of projects related the Global Costing
• Daily cost maintenance of the Item Master information (standard legal and management costs, transfer prices, freight factors) accordingly to the requests received from the customers.
• Validate all the requests received for the Daily Maintenance are according to the Global Cost Rules.
• Support the countries and perform the troubleshooting of any cost issue regarding Daily cost maintenance and Annual cost roll over activities.
• Validate the accuracy of the cost information loaded into the Global Instance and the Regional Instances.
• Run on monthly basis the corresponding Integrity Reports.
• Complete the monthly cost audit log.
• Validation of the Audit Reports generated by the system on daily basis.
• Keep updated Taxes SharePoint according the requests and TP’s implemented.
• Support Corporate Taxes inquiries.
• Advanced Pricing Troubleshooting.
• Set up the Price Adjustment Definition and Price and Adjustment Scheduler Revision (New Sellers – Go Live) in the Global and Regional instance.
• Lead the Annual Cost Roll Over for the 4 Regions:
  • Prepare and Update Training Materials
  • Responsible for the training provided to each of the Team Members
  • Guidance in each of the steps of the process.
  • Validate all the necessary activities included in each of the Global and Regional Checklist is completed.
  • Support Regions with their request.

• Comply with all S-Ox key controls and policies related to Cost Maintenance (Corporate Policy 1437).
• Support ERP teams during the Go Live activities for New Countries in 8.12 and upload all the cost information in the Global Instance. And support new projects.
• Support ERP Team in Go Live of New system functionalities (For example: TP/Cost Replication Phase II).
• Effective communication with the Technical Support Teams related to system issues or system performance and improves: Data mirrors and Schedulers.

The person in charge of this position should be analytical and have initiative to solve issues, as well as excellent communication, motivation and customer focus service skills. Strong attention to details, willingness to learn, ability to follow procedures, and positive attitude are a must, in order to accomplish the main objectives of the area.
