Sr. Associate, Business to Business (B2B) Technical Analyst

What you will do
B2B Partner Services team is a part of the Global Information Protection team. B2B is an integral group with the 3rd Party Engagement and Solution team within Amgen. We serve as a consultancy and solutions group for External Business Partners around the globe.
The focus for this role is establishing Business to Business partner relations by gathering and maintaining partner information, aligned with current policies and business standards. This responsibility includes coordination with multiple teams (internal and external) to implement collaboration solutions from a service catalogue, overseeing the onboarding of the External Business Partners(EBP), providing training and support for the EBP Super Users, and taking part in operational meetings with the Clients.
The role is client facing focused and requires strong customer facing skills.
Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities.
Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.
Possesses principle understanding of security policies and procedures.
Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
Architects a solution by gathering business requirements and understanding what considerations (legal, security and technical) a solution must accommodate.
Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business.
Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
Possesses an understanding of technological trends(XaaS and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge.
Facilitate and support the resiliency of IS services in the time required by critical business processes
Monitor and manage the Partner Services requests and questions list
Work with Partner Services lead to gather business requirements and identify potential solutions from the Partner Services Catalogue
Coordinate Implementation of solutions with the appropriate Wholesale Service and System Owners
Manage testing of solutions as required with the System Owners, Business teams and EBP IS Super Users/end users
Manage announcements (outages/maintenance)

Bachelor’s Degree or 8+ years’ IS/Technical Background experience
Previous Business Analyst Background
Previous Project Coordinator and/or Project Management Experience
Pharma/Healthcare Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical matters to a non-technical audience
Basic Network connectivity troubleshooting skills
Basic understanding of Networking (VPN, DNS, firewall, proxy) and AD/LDAP
Experience with managing client and account team expectations with strong follow-through skills to capture highlights of discussions and action items and seeing them to completion
Knowledge of SharePoint
Basic Service Now Help Desk Support tool and processes
