What you will do
Let's do this! Let's change the world. Play a vital role and be part of the web team, which provides end-to-end digital solutions and hosting for global websites enabling Amgen brands to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and our patients. The team offers an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen's Global Commercial Operations Digital Technology Innovation (GCO DTI) organization.
- Automate and improve development and release processes to ensure development agencies can focus solely on building and delivering
- Guide teams to build infrastructure-as-code that is scalable, performant, reliable, and secure
- Analyze data to improve existing processes and to implement automation tools for digital deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Lead root cause analysis while ensuring short feedback loops in the team
- Design and document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Automate regression testing for code to ensure consistency of security, compliance, performance standards
- Responsible for building and implementing cyber-attack resiliency plans
- Define and govern platform security standards for Sitecore and AWS
- Responsible for crafting integration toolkits to be used by other product and go-to-market teams.
- Oversee AWS Infrastructure while focussing on cost savings

Master's degree
OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Science experience
OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Science experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Science experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps (CI/CD) and automation tools such as digital.ai, Jenkins, Docker, GitHub
- Experience in handling orchestration and containerization tools such as Kubernetes / Docker
- Practical knowledge of CMS tools like Sitecore and web technologies such as HTML CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and SQL
- 3+ years of experience working with a cloud platform such as AWS
- Prior experience in conducting penetration testing, collecting website performance metrics, and web security standards
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to express yourself succinctly
- Experience using Jira for releases notifications and practical understanding of Agile/SAFe
- Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in website monitoring and log analysis
