What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work alongside of technologies, legal professionals, scientists and other business professionals to build and support critical technology solutions.

• Engage attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to understand and detail business needs and use your domain and technical expertise to recommend solutions
• Develop and present compelling business cases for technology investments and lead initiatives to implement them
• Work with product owners to design, build, test, improve and evolve product capabilities and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee suppliers, service providers, system integrators and other external workers and provide guidance to ensure delivery of commitments
• Work with and or adapt to multiple project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Rational, Waterfall)
• Use critical thinking skills and creativity to identify root cause and resolve system issues

• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with people with various backgrounds and lead through influence to achieve desired results
• Able to handle activities across multiple projects simultaneously at the speed of the business
• Digital mindset and able to see opportunities to implement new technologies to transform the business into a more agile, efficient and effective organization
• Deep technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to set the context and present in a clear and concise manner
• Experience in translating business requirements to technical requirements
• Learning agility with ability to master new technologies and processes with minimal support
• Experience with variety of commercial software used in corporate legal departments (e.g. contract lifecycle management, intellectual property management, enterprise legal management, e-Discovery, etc.) is preferred
• Experience implementing cloud-based services AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, using Jira (including setting up boards), Salesforce, Mulesoft, Tableau, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing is a plus!
• Proficient use of Office365 including MS Teams and SharePoint

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
