Responsibilities:

  • Initiates, develops, and supports Amgen advocacy partnerships
  • Actively collaborates with advocacy organizations to develop educational materials, platforms, and programs
  • Uses patient insights to address access hurdles and initiates solution-based advocacy
  • Supports the partnership with active advocates on initiatives in areas of mutual interest
  • Coordinates projects focused on building Amgen corporate image and specific areas of development
  • Coordinates PR activities
  • Participates in the initiation and execution of local PR strategy plan in alignment with local needs and consistent with Corporate Communication PR strategy
  • Builds and maintains relationship with key local media
  • Leads all internal communication projects
  • Develops target group specific corporate and VA&P materials
  • Responsible for screening and selection of external agencies, advertising partners, suppliers as well as correspondence and coordination of deadlines
  • Organizes and prepares the necessary set of documentations for the whole list of business activities of the VA&P department adhering to compliance guidance and company’s SOPs;
  • Participates or manages internal and external projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR and communications, marketing, economics or other relevant for the position areas
  • Communication experience with background in public relations and media relations of minimum 2 years (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
  • Understanding of country local health care system and decision-making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills to establish materials for internal and external communication
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Fluency in local language and English
  • Experience in matrix environment
