Job Summary

The Senior Associate for the Warehouse Dispensary and Distribution (WDD) operation is a People Manager shift role reporting in to the L5 WDD Manager supporting the daily operations of the WDD while on shift.  This role leads by example in the area by spending a minimum of 70% of time physically on the floor, follow all procedures, cGMP requirements and any other regulatory requirements.  Liaises and collaborates with the necessary functions on site to maintain a consistent and predictable supply of materials to internal customers at ADL and external customers. This is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) role for 24 months.

Warehouse, Dispensing and Distribution Operations

• Implement a resource plan to deliver and adhere to the Supply Chain schedule.
• Attend business critical meetings, MDI, project meetings, RCA’s.
• Supporting and resolving any material movement related issues, i.e. SAP, PASx,  
• Managing, communicating and delivering attainment plans using managing for daily improvements techniques. i.e. schedule adherence, standard work and workflow interrupters.
• Setting goals and clear expectations with the technician teams.
• Managing and develops warehouse technicians using the HR performance reviews processes.
• Ensuring training goal for all tasks as per the one team model is rolled out to the technician team.
• Allocate and coordinate small teams of technicians for assigned tasks.
• Recommend and implement improvement ideas to enhance the WDD function and other business processes.
• Delegate for the L5 Manager when required.
• Manage and inform to management any safety and compliance issues.
• Support of out of hours requirements may be required to maintain site operations.
• Manages the overtime roster

Compliance

• Own and lead minor deviations investigations using the Trackwise system.
• Attend and lead triages, RCA’s and any investigation meetings when required, documenting and escalating to management. 

• Responsible for Safety GETs program and the technicians ownership programme.
• Ensure work is completed in a safe compliant manner in accordance with applicable procedures, i.e. trained personal carry out the task, pallets safety prepped for storage barriers and signs are in place and JHA’s are integrated as part of the warehouse operations. 
• Responsible to maintain GMP and GDP audit readiness on the floor and supports during internal and external audits.

Lean Operations

• Identifying operational improvements using the continuous improvement process.
• Leading the lean manufacturing programme i.e. Standard work, MDI boards, Planned v Actual capacity and attainment reviews.

Documentation

• Responsible for end of shift reports to management and supply chain function.
• Attainment updates including problem statements, works completed and planned works to management and supply chain function.
• Maintains oversight of logbooks and elogbooks ensuring GDP practices are adhered to.  

Systems:

• SAP, CDOCS, QMTS (Quality Trackwise System)

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a pharmaceutical environment
• Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous
• Demonstrated track record of meeting targets and adhering to compliance
