• Provide legal counsel, advice, and direction to internal customers. • Drafts and reviews legal documents and reviews proposed transactions to ensure maximum benefit to Company & minimum exposure to risk. • Act as primary legal department contact for outside attorney communications on assigned projects/issues.

• Ensure all countries in Asia region are in compliance with all applicable industry and local laws, regulations and corporate standards.
• Advise other members of the legal department, assist the department regarding complex legal matters when required.
• Participates in the planning phase of various company products, services and projects and assists in plotting a course of action which balances the company’s goals with legal requirements.
• Monitors and interprets shifts and trends in governmental and legislative policies at regional level, determines company impact and advises senior management accordingly.
• Act as counsel in litigation on behalf of the company and participates in drafting court documents, take depositions, and other discovery; formulate trial strategy and try the case.
• Review company policies and procedures and provides legal advice as to their compliance with applicable laws.
• Evaluate legal issues involved in claims by or against the company and determines the appropriateness or settlement.
• All other duties, as assigned.
