The AWS Greater China (GC) Sales Strategy, Operation and Enablement (SSOE) team is looking for a Senior Business Ops Manager for Strategic Planning. This role will build and maintain our longer-term strategy and business plan by partnering with Strategy PMs, based on vertical industry trend and customer insight, and internal service offerings & pricing, sales capacity and competency. These inputs will shape our organizational perspective on the future, and input to annual planning. This role will also support SSOE leader for SSOE annual operation plan.
The ideal candidate is a systems-thinker with super strong analytical skill who can connect the dots and is able to identify opportunity from data insight to improve the productivity and efficiency along with AWS business rapid growth. This candidate is a self-starter who is process-oriented and able to excel at influencing teams and stakeholders to drive change. You do not shy away from ambiguity and complex problems, slicing and dicing massive sets of information, and creating solutions to problems that have not been tackled yet.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with Strategy PM office and Finance team to build GCR three-year plan, and take inputs from sales leaders, customers, product teams, service teams, and external market segment research.
• Owns the revenue projection and all other business insight / special topic analysis for annual operation planning at GCR level.
• Drive benchmarking analysis and learning from WW new initiatives in strategic planning area and initiates the enhancement program.
• Perform customer/partner needs and task analysis, scope projects, and evaluate existing processes to support the expansion of virtual operations in different BUs.
• Translate the sales strategy from leadership team to the planning work and facilitate leadership team’s decision making by providing solid trending, opportunity analysis etc.
• Support SSOE head to drive SSOE annual operation plan.
