Senior Brand Associate, Inflammation

In this role you will directly report to the Marketing Lead and contribute to plan, develop and implement comprehensive and innovative customer focused brand plans to ensure Business Unit achieves qualitative and quantitative goals for the assigned brand, in coordination with the Brand Cross Functional team. In this role you will:

• Design and execute promotional activities (detail aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, etc.) in line with international branding and key messages
• Identify, plan and carry out projects in line with the brand strategy
• Monitor and manage competitive intelligence
• Partner with Medical Affairs to optimize the brand performance (Development of clinical messages, KOL management etc.)
• Work closely with market access colleagues to build strong value propositions for all HC stakeholders
• Liaise with other PMs of the local Team on joint projects
• Seek and develop customer and market insights through direct customer contacts and relationships with field force, as well as commissioning market research
• Analyze market research and share advice on the development of Plan of Action (POA)
• Liaise with key stakeholders including Field Force to gather deep customer needs and insights and turn them into solid customer plans/solutions
• Support sales force towards brand aspiration (Cycle and Launch meetings)
• Demonstrate compliant use of financial systems and processes.

Additional accountabilities for this role are:

• Be accountable for planning, spending and controlling local budget as agreed for brand plan;
• Ensure full compliance and regulatory approval for all materials and initiatives developed;
• Select and manage external vendors;
• Deliver key messages;
• Identify and establish high quality customer relationships and internal collaboration;
• In-depth knowledge of the product(s), therapeutic area, market, stakeholders and competitors;
• Work within agreed budgets;
• Live the Amgen Values and operate in compliance with Amgen rules.

• 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Marketing role;
• Experience in Inflammation or Immunology therapeutic areas is preferred;
• Scientific or Economics studies and qualifications;
• Proven record in project management and delivery;
• Leadership skills with key internal and external stakeholders;
• Financial skills;
• Proven track record of effectively working in a matrix organization (cross-functional working);
• Positive “can do attitude” with self-motivation, energy and drive;
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills;
• Excellent English and Italian;
• Experience in digital Marketing and multichannel is preferred.
