Job Description

Operational Brand Management & Customer Excellence

  • Actively contribute to the development of the brand strategy by providing customer insights acquired during interactions with external and internal customers in accordance with the CDTI
  • Participate in the development of the Business Action Plan in close collaboration with the MH
  • Ensure full implementation of the operational Business Action Plan in close collaboration with the key functional team members
  • Keep the Business Action Plan updated, implement the plan to ensure that Brand objectives are realised
  • Lead the operational roll-out of the pre-agreed strategic and operational plan (campaign task force, monthly implementation meeting)

  • Identify potential new market insight and collaborate with Market Intelligence to leverage all important market data to refine action plans or to prioritize activities.

  • Develop and understand market research principles/sources/tools/methodology

  • Prioritizing individual work activities
  • Propose Budget spend on the defined territory

Customer

  • Gain insight into market and effectiveness of campaign through at least 3 full days with customers including minimum 36 field visits

Communication & Promotion

  • Develop all campaign material and all the briefing documents to ensure maximum impact
  • Leverage guidelines from global brand team and brief campaign task force accordingly to ensure respect of international guidelines
  • Manage actively agencies to ensure optimal use of available financial resources
    • Briefing and selection of agency
    • Review performance of agency and costs
  • Collect adequate feedback on promotional material/items at feedback meetings with local country product manager
  • Organise, in collaboration with the medical team as required:
    • Advisory boards, round tables or other expert meetings
    • National symposia/ Webx/ Webcast/ Vitual summit
    • Launch meetings
  • Be actively involved in the organisation of regional and national sales meetings/business reviews as required
  • Ensure full compliance of material / activities with ethical and AZ Pharmacode (demonstrate and ensure active respect for values, business ethics, local laws, policies and marketing procedures)

Cross -Functional Relations

  • Act as a key element of the cross-functional team
  • Able to work among virtual highly matrixed teams with proven effectiveness.
  • Sales force: 
  • Accompany reps at regular intervals to gain insight on current and future marketing initiatives
  • Provide training to new reps on the promotional materials and product strategy
  • Answer questions from sales force (on promotional material and brand strategy)

Level of Autonomy

  • Ability to lead the execution of the above listed tasks in consent with direct manager.
