Job Description
The Sr. Brand Manager position is created to be responsible for launching Fruquintinib, an Oncology new asset, in China. This role will be primarily focused on building the brand strategy before the product is commercialized. It will be required to lead the agency partner in order to create brand building elements (e.g. patient flow, segmentation, positioning, brand character, core messages, etc.). As a launch core team member, Sr. Brand Manager will collaborate with multiple cross-functional members such as Market Research, Medical, ASP as well as Hutchison (alliance partner). The ability to synthesize customer insights for brand strategy and influence thought leader network will be a key successful factor for this job.
- Strategic Planning
- Lead in the brand building process (i.e. Big Rocks) to build strategy
- Manage the brand development timeline to ensure launch readiness
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to plan and execute launch workstreams (e.g. trademark, pricing)
- Customer Engagement
- Identify and engage thought leaders in targeted therapeutic areas (CRC)
- Establish product advisory board, including physician and payers, to guide brand strategy
- Create deep customer insights that differentiate Fruquintinib in collaboration with Market Research
- Campaign Execution
- Conduct launch campaigns to shape a positive environment for Fruquintinib
- Liaise with Medical team to launch the medical programs (e.g. SEM, Sponsorship, HO)
- Build the promotional content (e.g. video, slides) for product campaigning
- Agency Management
- Interface with the agency account as the single point of contact
- Oversee the OPEX budget for agency activities to stay with the plan
- Manage the performance of agency partners through both formal and informal communication
- Deliver training of product knowledge and brand strategy to the sales force
- Design the training materials and sales tool (e.g. IVA)
- Drive internal business planning process (i.e. Customer Council, Business Plan, Operational Plan)

- Essential Qualification
- Bachelor degree and above
