What You Will Be A Part Of:

This position is part of the IT Global Operations team supporting the Procurement, Planning and Manufacturing business related business functions and systems. This position will focus specifically on supply chain and operations needs in the Laboratory Products Division (LPD). LPD is supported by several different ERPs. including SAP, Baan, Syspro, Infor XA and Macola. This position will help drive solutions to make a positive impact to our customers. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in various capacities, including projects, business intelligence, data analysis, enhancements work, and production support. This person will also facilitate communication between IT colleagues and business stakeholders located in different regions across the globe.

We are looking for a driven individual, with a proactive personality, who is willing to go the extra length to surpass the expectations of our supply chain and operations business partners. This role will engage with business executives and senior leadership, so executive presence is a must have. Prior experience in supply chain management is required.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with business and IT leaders to define technical strategy to meet business goals for supply chain and operations
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for the project portfolio with start / end dates and dependencies
  • Conduct and participate in requirements gathering and design workshops
  • Solicit, analyze and document business process activities and business requirements
  • Develop and document functional requirements for business solutions
  • Develop high level design and coordinate with development team
  • Create and execute test scripts, capture defects, verify fixes and report updates
  • Perform functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing
  • Coordination of enhancements requiring offshore development, including handoff calls
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify problems and develop practical solutions
  • Develop change and release documentation
  • Support change management processes
  • Document release notes and develop training materials
  • Triage support tickets and follow up with end users
  • Contribute to knowledge repository

How you Will Get Here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Systems Analysis or closely related field of study.
  • 7-10 years of experience supporting supply chain related systems including Inventory, Procurement, Planning and/or Manufacturing management systems.
  • Experience working with supply chain including demand planning, production planning, inventory planning, procurement, and intercompany inventory transfers. Specific knowledge of lot management, invoicing and requisitions.
  • Ability to confidently engage with executive and senior leaders
  • Good presentation skills with ability to tailor a message to the target audience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies, especially cloud computing
  • Strong data analysis skills including data standardization, data clean up, and data consolidation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and proactively manage tasks to completion
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) using waterfall or agile/scrum

Requirements (Preferable):

  • Ability to navigate complex multi-functional environments across multiple business units, be a team player and enjoy working as part of a multi-cultural team
  • Experience with SAP, Baan or other ERPs in any of the following areas: Inventory, Distribution, Procurement, Planning and Manufacturing modules.
  • Ability to travel for project related work (up to 25%)
  • Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Certification in cloud computing or hosting platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Certification as PMP or CSM
