Eaton’s ITD-Aerospace Souriau division is currently seeking a Sr. CNC Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Tijuana facility. The Sr. CNC Engineer is responsible for designs/maintains labor time standards, process/manufacturing specification/instructions, statistical process controls, production routers, etc. Reviews existing processes and makes recommendations for revisions when necessary. Responsible for Special Process Definition regulated by NADCAP and compliance against internal and external procedures, supports kaizen and continuous improvement events Some activities related with the position will be: Defines process instructions by creating, releasing and controlling Manufacturing Job Instructions. Defines sequence of operations by creating, releasing and controlling Production Routers. Maintains routers. Establishes and documents Labor Time Standards for each operation in the MRP system Documents production process requirements by creating Product and Process Specifications. Owner of Process Specifications follow up and compliance (NADCAP). Implements and maintains Statistical Process Controls of production processes and key characteristics. Reviews and writes assembly and fabrication procedures, including detailed production station instructions/visual aids as required. Recommends changes when necessary. Examines and suggests improvements to tooling, machinery, processes, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc. Supports Tool Room Administration, new tooling requirements for process improvements or launch. Provides idea leadership to the MRB team, including corrective actions. Helps solve customer/vendor/manufacturing problems. May perform failure analysis, tolerance studies, layouts, etc. Develops feasibility studies relating to the purchase of special equipment/machines and initiates R.O.I. and cost reduction support data. #LI-AP01 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering. +5 Years of experience in Manufacturing dealing with assembly, detail fabrication, CNC machining (lathes & mills), TIG welding, Brazing, HT, Chemical processes.
