Location:  This position has the flexibility to be based from a home office anywhere in the US

 

As a key member of the Team, you will manage the marketing program execution related to energy product lines go-to-market initiative enabling sales to achieve new business growth targets. Additionally, you will work closely to develop positive relationships with many other roles in the Marketing and Pre-sales teams, as well as Sales, Services, Product Development and Executive Management teams.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including product management and development teams, sales, user success, and regional marketing.
  • Gather and analyze market data (users, prospects, competitors)
  • Develop clear and compelling value propositions that address needs and describe how your applications create better outcomes for users.
  • Execute your energy product line go-to-market plan and support the reporting on the marketing key results  
  • Create awareness using messaging and content with press and analysts
  • Coordinate marketing projects from beginning to end including creating and managing paid social and advertising campaigns.
  • Launch campaigns and new product offerings, providing the market-ready content for effective campaign execution
  • Update product marketing collateral and web pages with new content in support product updates and new launches.
  • Evangelize the message both internally and externally per target (buyer/decision) persona demonstrating story-telling abilities that can make the complex simple, and invoke both empathy and excitement 
  • Understand product strategies, the specification of new product offerings and ensuring all information and content is updated
  • Create compelling content that aligns to the (buyer/decision) journey  
  • Work across marketing organization including with the energy marketing team, as well as sales, customer success teams, and product teams to ensure campaigns and new releases are launched effectively and on-time
  • Build, test, and refine core messages and search engine keywords for the products for each target audience
  • Ensure all aspects of business are on brand, consistent, focused on customer outcomes, and employ best marketing practices
  • Benchmark against internal growth goals and trend lines; and maintain competitive fact base including competitor successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, how to sell against, etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of engineering infrastructure software experience
  • 7+ years’ experience with user focused storytelling, writing, and presentation development even if not in a marketing role.
  • Related degree in Marketing or Engineering field or 5+ years working in a position that requires AEC marketing domain knowledge, MBA an asset.
  • Strong English writing and communications skills required
  • Strong English presentation preparation skills required
  • Strong B-to-B experience and skills
  • Must be computer savvy, can multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a team environment 
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role may require infrequent travel to a Bentley office location post COVID
