General Purpose:

Sr Cost Accountant responsible for product costs, manufacturing overhead & RMA rework expenses. Additionally, this role will also support manufacturing and supply chain operation activities in Taiwan and China.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Manage inventory costs that include, product average cost, manufacturing OH rates, overhead capitalization and revaluation variances

• Analyze manufacturing variances and manufacturing overhead expenses on monthly basis and generate flux analysis

• Monitor work order variances and process appropriate reclass entries

• Manage warranty and LCM reserves and reconcile associated BS accounts

• Mange RMA rework costs and generate monthly reports

• Prepare Freight accrual on monthly basis

• Perform Month/quarter end close activities related to Cost Accounting

• Provide Cost Accounting support to TAO and China manufacturing and supply chain teams

• Support annual inventory PIs and manage cost accounting aspects of cycle count for inventory

• Perform other duties not listed within job specification as assigned or directed by Management

  
  

Essential Skills and Experience:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance

• 10+ years of Cost Accounting work experience

• Require experience with inventory, product cost and work orders in a manufacturing environment

• Oracle ERP experience

• Demonstrate leadership skills and work independently

• Fluent in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
