Job Description
The Data & Analytics (D&A) Consultant is expected to work independently with minimal guidance and to leverage problem solving and troubleshooting skills with proven ability to exercising mature judgment. The D&A Consultant should write clearly and succinctly in a manner that appeals to a wide audience and communicate complex engineering concepts succinctly to senior decision makers.
Job Description:
- Design new processes and builds large, complex data sets.
- Strategize new uses for data and its interaction with data design.
- Locate new data sources, analyzes statistics and implements quality procedures.
- Perform data studies of new and diverse data sources.
- Conduct statistical modeling and experiment design.
- Test and validate predictive models.
- Generate algorithms and create computer models.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in data mining or natural language processing.
- Master degree or above on mathematical, computer science.
- Proficiency in Python. Utilizing and applying into projects knowledge of Python based data science tools.
- Utilizing programming skills and knowledge on how to write models which can be directly used in production.
- Understanding of not only how to develop data & analytic models but how to operationalize these models so they can run in an automated context.
- Machine learning algorithms, such as k-NN, Neural Networks Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests.
- Proven ability with NLP and text-based extraction techniques.
- Basic and advanced prediction models.
- Statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, algorithms and advanced mathematics.
- Hands-on experience in Statistical classification algorithm (K-Means, SVM, Naive Bayesian) and building regression model (Linear Regression, Logistic Regression).
- Large scale data analysis skills via Spark / Spark Streaming, the Hadoop stack.
- Shows a high level of skills in acquisition and application of vast knowledge areas over a short period of time and requires a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Strong English communication in paper and oral.
- Lead, train and work with other D&A Consultants in designing effective analytical approaches taking into consideration performance and scalability to large datasets.
- Responsible for the architecture design of models / strategies / algorithms for the innovative applications, including but not limited to natural language processing predictive analysis, etc.
