Responsibilities

• Identify business scenarios in O365 infrastructure that Machine Learning will help
• Develop predictive algorithms and produce data insights
• Enhance model training and data collection tooling and infrastructure
• Suggest, specify, and prototype original components
• Drive productizing Machine Learning algorithms with software engineers
• Provide technical leadership, learn, and partner with other Microsoft teams

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• BS/MS in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, AI, or a related engineering field
• 3 years relevant work experiences in software programming, data modeling and/or analytics (e.g., as a statistician / data scientist / computational biologist / bioinformatician / algorithm engineer / infrastructure soft engineer who has machine learning background)
• Professional experience in at least one high-level programming language (C#, Java, C/C++, Python, Go etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
• PhD degree in areas listed in Required Qualifications
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Good understanding of predictive analytics process from data validation to model assessment, stability, and deployment monitoring
• Strong programming and S/W development skills
