Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities: 

• Develop & implement analytical models that establish an improved data-driven understanding of our Datacenter Operations worldwide, driving continuous improvements, and informed staffing decisions
• Analyze and interpret data to provide recommendations and insights into datacenter-related staffing models, support, and capacity demand drivers
• Collaborate and engage with subject matter experts to gain operational insight into building analytical models leveraging real-life experiences
• Use standard and ad-hoc reporting methods to gather and consolidate pertinent data to run resource modeling scenarios
• Provide support and sustained development for internal data infrastructure leveraged by DC Operations
• Participate in technical communities to stay informed of best practices and changes within the broader discipline and share them with the organization

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, analytics and statistics
• 6+ years of experience in SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services, OLAP, DAX and MDX

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Proficient with SQL Azure, Azure Services, and Azure Data Factory
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics
• Multi-Dimensional Cube Development
• C#, Python, and/or R experience
• Experience analyzing big data to drive business decisions
• Data visualization experience using platforms like Power BI, Excel

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
