The Global External Manufacturing Sourcing (GEMS) organization contracts and sources tens of billions of dollars on behalf of Intel Corporation. The purpose of the organization is to drive, leverage, and manage external technology, engineering, and manufacturing solutions so that Intel can consistently achieve product leadership, capacity flexibility and revenue aspirations. The organization's key goals are: 1) ensuring uninterrupted supply to our customers, 2) delivering product and manufacturing affordability through the best total cost and 3) optimizing product roadmaps and ecosystem capabilities to maximize the value for the corporation.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the global group that collaborates with the Business Units, Design Engineering, External partners (i.e. consortia, trade/standard groups, research firms, academia etc) and External Manufacturing Ecosystem to deliver strategic supply chain decisions through a holistic roadmap-based manufacturing strategy, built on an in-depth understanding of Intel's product requirements and comprehensive market insights, to deliver leadership products at the right capability, cost, and availability.
This position will report to the Senior Director of External Manufacturing Strategy and Planning (EMSP) in the Global External Manufacturing and Sourcing group (GEMS).
As the Senior Director of Foundry Strategy, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
� Develop external manufacturing strategies for Intel's senior management/board of directors to drive transformation for the company.
� Collaborate with internal and external partners to explore new emerging/disruptive trends, capabilities and investments that enhance Intel's strategic competitiveness. These capabilities may exist in the ecosystem, or they may not exist. In those that do not exist, shape the ecosystem so that we have multiple capability options for Intel.
� Establish key strategic priorities and translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan & roadmaps. In partnership with business groups, ensure priorities are aligned, and mobilized in BU/organizations strategic priorities.
� Orchestrate internal/external stakeholder alignment to ensure everyone understands the strategic plan, form into cohesive coalitions and carry out the company's strategic goals.
� Develop inclusive planning processes and drive decision-making that creates medium- and long-term improvement.
� Develop, communicate, execute, and sustain strategic initiatives that accelerate Intel's External Manufacturing transformation.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
� MS degree in Electrical, Material, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; PhD, MBA preferred with 20+ years of applicable experience.
� This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
