Directs the activities and development of technology in areas relevant to an organization's future products, projects and programs. Collaborates with others on the direction of basic technology development relevant to long-term objectives and concerns. Writes and approves manuscripts for publication. Develops strategies to ensure effective achievement of organizational objectives. Monitors and evaluates the completion of tasks and projects. Oversees interdepartmental activities. Selects develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience managing high-performing technical teams

• Deep technical understanding of the computer graphics domain

• Subject matter expertise, as demonstrated through publications, patents, and shipped products

• Multinational company experience

• Interpersonal skills with the experience collaborating well and working across teams

• PhD in Computer Science or related field
