We are seeking a staller candidate to join the BXD (Barefoot Switching Division) in Intel's Network and Edge Group (NEX) as a Senior Director of Physical Design. You will be responsible for leading the physical implementation of multiple products running in parallel on cutting edge technologies (multiple foundries), mainly using COT flow but in some cases ASIC flow as well. Those products will include state of the art programmable switches and fabrics, deployed both in Intel platforms as well as with external customers, including the largest networking and compute infrastructure builders in the market today. In this role, you will own all aspects related to the physical implementation of BXD products. You will collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams involved in the product development within Intel as well as the relevant third party vendors required to deliver the product successfully to high volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Hiring and retaining TOP Physical Design talent

• Providing critical (physical oriented) feedback in the early stages of product definition and tradeoff analysis

• Planning and tracking the execution work involved in taking a new product all the way from early netlist through a successful tapeout

• Working in a fast-paced/cross discipline environment, closely collaborating with BXD and Intel wide cross-disciplinary teams

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering

• 10+ years of experience in leading physical design teams
