Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manufacturing automation: identification and development of next generation manufacturing platforms and processes, accelerating conversion to digital workflow
Customer factory automation solutions: identification and development of factory automation solutions that work with our embellishment, trim and packaging products to add value for our customers by driving supply chain speed, productivity, and sustainability
Ongoing collaboration and communications with colleagues and stakeholders across all functions to understand priority needs and opportunities. Interaction with: factory solutions, IPPS, supply chain and operations, retail brand and factory sales -
Technology scouting and open innovation: engage in processes to proactively identify potential solutions and partners, establish and engage in ongoing practices to build a culture that encourages trying new things and failing fast to drive rapid learning
Innovation and process improvement: through effective problem solving and ideation, propose and implement changes to work processes and new technology. Support innovation of new products and solutions.
Support technology and product roadmaps for near and long term strategy: recommend and advise on capital investments, equipment modifications, and technology improvements
Project management: effectively lead project teams and proactively manage execution of priority initiatives to deliver improved processes and results
Provide technical support to operations and commercial functions for automation opportunities
Coach, train, and develop on new solutions and capabilities.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or commensurate training and work experience with demonstrated technical expertise across a range of products and technologies
Minimum 5 years related work experience - manufacturing technologies, operations, process improvements, and problem solving
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with limited supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication in English skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively work, positively influence and collaborate with others
Ability to work remotely at flexible hours to communication with Europe and Americas time zone
Experience with Inkjet Technology and front end workflow is preferred
Lean Manufacturing and Project Management experience
Previous regional and global work experience is preferred
Ability to travel globally when required to support business, in range 25-75% of the time (domestic and international)
