Job Description

• Work closely and collaboratively with merchandising and sourcing team, product development team and fabric mills to achieve fabric sourcing requirements in terms of quality and price
• Responsible for fabric sourcing, price negotiations and mills relationship
• Work in partnership with fabric mills from fabric development, sampling till bulk production
• Coordinate and follow up fabric profile and monitor quality performance of new development and bulk to meet company's requirements and quality standards
• Identify, address and resolve any fabric / new development issues
• Keep abreast of market trends and innovative technologies to consistently improve strategies
• Track and update fabric development status in the system and price details in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain good filing system
• Perform ad-hoc projects or other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience for woven fabric sourcing or minimum 2 years of working experience for knit fabric sourcing
• Bachelor's degree or above in related discipline
• With experience on developing fashion woven/knit fabrics
• Solid experience in sourcing and with good product knowledge
• Understand fabric trends, aesthetics & price concepts
• Sound negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Strong in OS applications (eg. Excel)
• Good command in both written and verbal English and Mandarin
• Proactive and quick to respond
• Well organized, attention to details and self-motivated
• Willing to travel
• Immediately available is preferred
