The team works across engineering, marketing, and sales teams to develop solutions to deliver against this journey. You will learn partnership and have an ability to impact across many key business functions including product, go to market strategy as well as business planning & development.

 

The Business Health finance lead will be part of the broader FP&A function, running our core financial rhythms such as month end close, forecast, rollover and planning. This role specifically will work on performance management, drill in and drive action from analytics to insights and help the team determine key focus areas for executives across both the Finance and Business. This role will work closely across the GTM, Pillar and LRP MW finance teams to determine how we measure business and financial success, determine key financial metrics and trends that we monitor (including RPS, QBC, VSU and key Exec reviews), and help tell that story across various finance and exec meetings.

Responsibilities

 

Business and Finance Process Excellence:

 

• Ownership of key financial views and performance metrics to be used in our monthly ROB, quarterly business reviews, key exec reviews and into the planning process
• Ownership of the fiscal rollover process and updates to our analytical framework
• Defines the Revenue per Socket and key health metric using PxQ (Licenses, Install Base and ARPU) and core drivers of those metrics
• Partnership across our MW GTM finance teams, to be able to tell the How and Why, as well as the What
• Create clarity and focus, where do we spend our valuable time and resources across the team, what analytics require a drill down to help tell our story and drive action

 

Business Enablement and Compliance:

 

• Land and drive consistency in how we measure and look at our business, across key levers in the business
• Partner closely with WCB/GSMO to ensure data consistency
• Help facilitate resource prioritization with our BI team
• Ensure data accuracy

Qualifications

 

The individual should have:


1. Deep technical knowledge of the Modern Workplace and Microsoft Commercial business preferred
2. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams
3. Strong analytics and ability to summarize performance and key stories coming out of the data
4. Ability to communicate data into a story, that resonates and validates our business performance, both internal and externally.
5. A strong simplifier

 

Qualifications:

 

1. Undergraduate degreee in Finance / Business, Accounting or Economics; CPA or MBA or equivalent work experience to MBA preferred

2. 6+ years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, reporting, controllership with a good analytical foundation

3. 5+ years Executive communication and presentation experience
