Job Description
What will you do?
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Genetic Sciences Division (GSD) commercial finance team, and provide support to global commercial business review, focusing on revenue forecast consolidation, variance analysis, risk assessment, and BU/region alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly forecast cycles and develop related deliverable
- Liaison with Group and regional commercial finance teams and Division Consolidation / BU / Ops finance to drive alignment and execution
- Identify, monitor and articulate key operating metrics, business risks and opportunities to senior management
- Provide financial modeling and analytics related to Commercial activities, participate in key special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed
- Assist in developing next-gen dashboards and KPI tools to enhance visibility and business insights, and enable data-driven decision making
How will you get here?
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of related experience in financial planning and analysis in complex, multinational organization.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools (EDW) and Hyperion is a must.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills required and ability to work and interact with senior level business partners/customers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Capacity to successfully navigate and thrive in a heavily matrixed environment. Commercial support experience strongly preferred.
- Technical ability to effectively navigate interplay between all financial systems (E1, SAP, EDW, Hyperion Planning, HFM/CMR), and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Constructive attitude with emphasis on collaboration.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting information to multiple management layers, up to and including Division leadership team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work.
- Desire to formulate and drive process improvements, challenging the status quo.
- Experience with building and maintaining Data Visualization Tools (Tableau/PowerBI) a plus
