Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position requires ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting all deadlines, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization and all functions. Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles with an emphasis on general accounting, financial analysis for month end and forecast expenses and payroll, Support Accounts Receivable Team in order to resolve debt or billing transactions. This position is responsible to support and maintain compliance with Eaton Corporate Policies and Procedures and provide guidance where appropriate, helps to ensures compliance to SOX guidelines and participates in SOX audits and reviews, helps accounting and business units to meet goals on measurable statistics, reviews transactions, interoperates results and takes actions as necessary. ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS: Perform forecast for expenses and payroll accounts and prepare the commentary package for financial statements Budget Control Support finance culture and daily reports of finance metrics Coordinate with GFSS AR Corporate the manual invoices requests and follow up on Customer deductions with Materials Team Support Management of Fix Assets Control of Capital, CIP and capitalizations Prepare Profit Plan expenditures, consolidate and prepare the commentary package for financial statements Demonstrate key competencies such as analysis, drive for results, ownership, problem solving and leadership skills Monitor Head count actuals vs Forecast and Profit plan and report risk or Opportunities. Follow up on internal control actions and perform periodic audits to the controls Implement process improvements to increase value added output and document standard work for all cyclical processes to positively impact performance. Responsible for actively participating in all Continuous Improvement activities in area of responsibility by effectively utilizing EBS processes and tools, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, EQS and others as applicable Serve as financial business partner to budget owners in monthly forecasting, financial reporting and analysis, and the annual development of departmental budgets. Perform analysis/reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts, resolve variances, and report outcomes. Standards acknowledge of US - Interprets day-to-day activities and translate them into journal entries, SOX & internal control, and understands their impact on balance sheet and profit & loss statements. Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Accounting or Business Degree Knowledge of financial and managerial accounting. 3+ experience years in accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing plant environment Capabilities in managing systems, data mining: Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, Encore and DFT (desired), and Strong Excel skills (expert), Power BI as well as other MS Office apps Knowledge of accounting, forecasting, cost control and purchasing procedures Technical skills in account reconciliation, cost accounting and analysis Ability to work proactively and anticipate the need and priorities of the organization Team player with flexibility and attention to detail Excellent data analysis, reporting, and project management skills Communication and computer skills. Service Attitude English 80%. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Accountable Proactive and positive attitude Teamwork Work under pressure ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSABILITY Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash Place the dangerous residues (Gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers Maintain area clean and free of contaminants. – Not waste of water or electricity. Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment. Acting immediately in chemists’ discharge case. Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge) Ensure the right storage of dangerous residues. ENSURING THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSABILITY Ensuring the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization's business processes. Ensuring that the quality management system achieves its intended results Promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking. Ensuring that the resources needed for the quality management system are available. Promoting improvement. Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility.
