1. Responsible for embedded software development for new product and existing product modification 2. Initial design and technical proposal preparation, including the system concept design process 3. Has experience running simulation on HIL (Hardware In Loop) equipment use MATLAB & Simulink software. 4. Has experience on module based design approach. 5. Performs architecture research, sub-system analysis, programming, and unit testing. 6. Perform all related tests according to functional and EMC standards, generate test system and plan, assure all design meet the test needs 7. Provide firmware or system test technical support to the global and local product’s needs. 8. Mentor junior engineer. 9. Responsible for related document and specification 10. Maintain current knowledge of product engineering technologies, competitor capabilities and practices 11. Perform other related activities and special projects as assigned Qualifications At least three years firmware development experience in industrial control or other related area. Experience in industrial control system, embedded system firmware development, hardware design experience is a plus. Good understanding and experiences with software development process, experience of full product design project life-cycle, Experience programming using C, C++, Assembler, in embedded environment, firmware test knowledge required. Familiar with 8/16/32 bits MCU, ARM Cortex-M3 MCU experience or knowledge is plus. knowledge on fieldbus such as Modbus, Profibus, TCP/IP. Have experience use MATLAB & Simulink. Awareness / knowledge of current Firmware & Software technologies trend. Motor control knowledge preferred. We make what matters work.
