In the role you will act as Senior FW Engineer developing embedded FW for power conversion products.. Job Responsibilities: - Develop, debug and enhance existing and new real-time C/C++ code on RTOS based environments for UPS (Uninterruptible Power supply) products. - Work in a power converter lab as needed to support development and debug activities through the entire product lifecycle. - Create and execute module level tests to expose weakness or faults in firmware. - Translate product requirements into software implementation and integrate them into firmware and validation frameworks. Qualifications Qualifications: - MSc or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation Engineering, Computer Science or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience. - Familiarity with operation and modeling of AC/DC and DC/DC high power conversion topologies for linear and switch mode operation. - Can read hardware schematics and work with the hardware team to deliver production worthy hardware/software co-designed architecture. - Experience with typical microcontroller peripherals such as ADC, DAC, PWM, Timers etc. and communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, UART etc. - Experience with unit testing, test driven development, or hardware in the loop methodologies is desirable. Education level required: Master or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar in Engineering. Years and area of experience required: Several years of actual work experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Automation field years. Technical knowledge: FW Development, Test Driven Development. Soft skills: Leadership, collaboration, communication and planning skills.
