JOB FUNCTION:

Job purpose:

Manage cost and risk reduction projects for raw material.

Key challenges (in first 6 – 12m):

Understand business requirements. Ensure supplier management and qualification to drive PPG leverage and competitiveness in the market.

Core Responsibilities:

1) Initite global projects for cost reduction

2) initial global project for risk management

3) work with global GSM, analytical and technical to identify and qualify new supplier

4) maintain necessary documents for supplier qualification

5) Fully comply with PPG’s Code of Ethics.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Requirements to do the job, and qualifications)

Experience:

1) Bachelor degree or above.

2) Chemical or chemistry background.

3) More than 3 years working experience in chemical industrial.

Knowledge & Skills (functional competences and capabilities):

1) Knowledge in pigment, additive or coatings are preferred.

2) Knowledge in quality system i.e. IATF 16949 is preferred.

3) Fluent in both Mandarin and English.

4) Problem solving and communication skill needed.
